What does the payment for UMS new student registration cover?
The payment for new student registration includes: Development Fund (DP) and tuition fee (SPP) Installment I for 10 credits. The amount of DP and SPP per SKS depends on the selected study program, following the Rector's Decree regarding the cost of study.
Can payment for new student registration via bank transfer?
Basically you can, but it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED payment by auto debit system. So, new students must have an account at a UMS partner bank (in this case Bank Jateng Syariah, Bank Bukopin Syariah, or Bank Syariah Mandiri). The bank transfer is addressed to the student account, then the student asks the UMS partner bank to withdraw the registration payment from the student account. Direct bank transfers to UMS accounts are avoided because it will make it difficult to reconcile data between transactions at the bank and in the UMS financial system database.
If a new student resigns, is there any refund of the registration fee? If so, how does the new student take care of it?
If the resignation of the new student has not exceeded the deadline for resignation, the student concerned will get a partial refund of the registration fee. As an illustration, at PMB-UMS 2017 UMS has the right to cut 15% of the total registration fee that must be paid, for each new student resignation before the deadline for resignation. If the resignation exceeds the set time limit, there will be no refund of the registration fee. To take care of returning part of the registration fee due to resignation, the student concerned asks for a resignation form to the ODS Admission, then submits the resignation form and other files (Certificate of Completion, payment receipt, account number, and identity card) to the Bureau of Finance of UMS. The Bureau of Finance will process refunds in approximately 7-10 working days, and refunds will be made by bank transfer.
If a student changes his/her study program after taking lectures, is the Development Fund (DP) of the old study program considered in paying the DP for the new study program?
Yes, provided that when he/she resigns from the old study program, there is no bill for financial administration payments for the old study program. If the DP for the new study program is higher than the DP for the old study program, then the DP for the new study program only adds to the shortfall. If the DP for a new study program is lower, there is no return of the excess. |

What is the payment pattern of tuition fee (SPP) at UMS?
Prior to the 2012/2013 academic year, the tuition fees were still in a package form, it did not depend on the number of credits taken. If students pay tuition more than the bill, how to get the overpaid?
