The Bureau of Financial Administration (BAK) is one of the supporting units for the implementation of higher education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. BAK is responsible for managing university finances in an accountable, transparent and efficient manner. Financial governance includes budget planning, verification of budget proposals, budget disbursement, use of the budget, and accountability reports (LPJ) on the use of the budget. All of these stages have been facilitated by a financial management information system, including a financial archiving information system, which facilitates the management of LPJ financial records and university valuable documents (land certificates, vehicle BPKB).
The management of the financial LPJ archives for all units within Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta is the main responsibility of the Head of Affairs of Archive. However, teamwork must be carried out so that financial governance work in all areas can be completed properly. In order that all BAK staff are familiar with the financial archiving information system, on June 3 2023 BAK held a socialization of the financial archiving information system. The keynote speaker is Mr. Noto Narwanto, S.T., M.Kom., the Head of Division of Budget and Students Financial Administration as well as the developer of the corresponding information system.
