BAK Integrated ISRECOD and Book Grant Information Systems with SIMKEU

In an effort to improve the quality of financial administration services to internal lecturer-staff stakeholders, the Bureau of Financial Administration (BAK) integrated the financial management information system (SIMKEU) with the information systems (SI) of other related units. In the RPUPA 2023/2024 work program, BAK integrated SIMKEU with SI Isrecod and SI Book Grant (MyBIMA UMS), with slight developments to suit stakeholder needs. With the development and integration of this information system, lecturers and staff of related units (BAK, LRI, LPMPP, LPPI) can find out the payment status of internal research and community service grants, as well as Book Grant, both the payment amount and stages.

Previously, BAK had developed a LAN and web-based financial management information system to facilitate university financial governance and financial administration services to internal stakeholders (students, lecturers, education staff, study programs, faculties, units) and external (partner banks, students’ parents) , which is schematically depicted as follows:

Based on the financial governance scheme above, the financial management information system developed includes:

  • Host to Host with partner banks, to facilitate the billing and payment system for student study fees,
  • Cash management system (CMS), to facilitate the process of disbursing budgets from university accounts to faculty/unit accounts through a book transfer mechanism,
  • SIMKEU LAN, to facilitate the process of submitting budgets, disbursing budgets, and reporting budget usage, including calculating tax deductions,
  • SIMKEU web based, to facilitate monitoring of financial LPJ progress and providing proof of tax withholding for personal income tax reporting,
  • SIMKEU LAN which is integrated with SI HRD, to facilitate the application of salary budgets and the provision of accreditation data related to the salaries of lecturers and education staff,
  • SIMKEU LAN which is integrated with BAA Academic SI, to facilitate teaching transport application and teaching transport payment status,
  • SIMKEU LAN which is integrated with SI APPLE BPP, to facilitate the application of development budget.
